Dr Amanda Seay’s hands-on workshop will be a highlight of 2017’s BACD Annual Conference

Dr Amanda Seay is an acknowledged leader in her field, and has been named as one of the Top 25 Women in Dentistry. She focuses on comprehensive restorative dentistry at her South Carolina private practice.

Her exclusive hands-on workshop entitled Class IV Fracture: Composite Artistry will be a highlight of the upcoming British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD) Annual Conference.

“I will illustrate the versatility of using composite to create an invisible Class IV restoration using a naturally shaded composite system, including discussing the fundamentals of colour and how to best decide when to use different systems.”

Workshop topics include shade selection, material placement, and finishing and polishing.

“I will teach systematic technique to achieve proper contour, form, texture and achieve a beautiful result,” she said.

“I hope delegates gain a better understanding of colour, translucency, opacity and we will attempt to simplify the concept of hue, chroma and value so professionals can more effectively produce aesthetically exemplary treatment outcomes.”

The BACD Fourteenth Annual Conference 2017, ‘FAB – Function, Aesthetics, Biology’ 9th – 11th November 2017
