Dr Peter Sanders provides a one-day introduction course for intra-oral welding

Dr Peter Sanders, UK Ambassador for intra-oral welding and the WeldOne Concept, is to introduce dentists to the ground-breaking technique of implant loading based on a resistance spot-welding principle in a practical one-day training programme.

Delegates will discover the background, development and practical applications of this technique. The skills-based course will provide attendees with hands-on, practical knowledge of how to successfully carry out Intra-oral welding procedures.

Attendees of the course will also:
•Gain an understanding of the background of intra-oral welding and the WeldOne Concept
•Learn about the different practical applications for this technique
•Develop essential welding skills including bending of wires, welding wires to welding caps and tubes, welding secondary wires and connecting pro-shells to wires
•Gain an understanding of the concept of conometrics and its applications
•Develop knowledge of the practical steps involved in a full arch on 4 implants and a short span bridge on 2 implants

Dr Sanders was awarded the title of ‘UK Ambassador’ following scrutiny from Dr Marco Degidi, who has researched and developed the intraoral welding method over the last two decades. His role as Ambassador and experience of intra-oral welding, make him the ideal implantologists to lead the UK training programme.

The one-day event takes place on 08/12/17- 9am-6pm- at the Dental Confidence Implant Centre in Southampton. Refreshments and lunch will be provided, and Dr Peter Sanders invites delegates to join him for dinner after training.
