BACD “welcomes” three new board members and a new Vice-President
The British Academy of Cosmetic Dentists has announced three new members to the board, and a new Vice-President.
From left to right (top): Founder and principal dentist of Blue Court Dental, Dr Nishan Dixit brings a wealth of expertise to the Vice-President position, having previously served as the Scientific Director on the Board of the BACD. His excellence in the profession has been widely recognised through his nominations for the Smile Awards in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Dr Dixit says he is “dedicated to remaining at the forefront of cosmetic dentistry”.
Since qualifying in 1989, Dr Paul Abrahams is “committed to exceeding expectations in all areas of dentistry, particularly in cosmetics”. He hopes he can be a leader in the field and provide patients with exceptional care.
Dr Luke Hutchings qualified in 2002 and has been trained by leading experts both nationally and internationally. He says he is passionate about improving the dental health, function and aesthetics for patients, “taking a particular interest in delivering ethical, minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry”.
Based in the south-west, cosmetic and sedation dentist Dr Chris McConnell is an appointed opinion leader for a multi-national dental company, and is involved with training dentists in minimally invasive cosmetic techniques throughout the UK.
