BSDHT and BADT need your help to push for exemptions to the Medicines Act

The British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy (BSDHT) is proud to have represented members of the profession for nearly 70 years. Having grown from strength to strength and changed with the times, we continue to focus on the big issues affecting dental hygienists and dental therapists.

Among current projects is our push for exemptions to the Medicines Act alongside the British Association of Dental Therapists (BADT). The two organisations are working hard to build a case for the need to enable dental hygienists and dental therapists to prescribe certain medications directly to their patients.

To continue driving this campaign forward, we need you. We need to hear about your experiences where the lack of ability to provide prescription-only medicines has hindered the care you can deliver to your patients.
