IDS 2023: Around 1,700 exhibitors
The organisers of IDS applaud an excellent number of registrations from Germany and abroad. A spokesperson offers more details.
With almost seven weeks before the start of International Dental Show (IDS) 2023, the leading international trade fair of the dental industry is already ideally placed. The global industry highlight is not only taking place for the fortieth time but is also celebrating its 100th anniversary.
"100 years IDS – shaping the dental future": The IDS has been designing the dental future for 100 years now and will once again make an impressive demonstration for visitors from 14 to 18 March 2023.
Around 1,700 companies from 60 countries have already registered for the trade fair for dentistry and dental technology and around 75 per cent of the exhibiting companies come from abroad. In addition to the largest participation from Germany, the most important international exhibitors hail from Italy, the Republic of South Korea, France, Japan, Switzerland, Spain, Turkey and the USA.
In addition to this, numerous foreign group stands will once again be represented in Cologne. Fifteen groups from 13 countries have registered so far, including from Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Israel, Italy, Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore and the USA.
IDS 2023 will be staged in Halls 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 and 11 of the Cologne fair grounds, taking up an exhibition area of around 180,000 square metres. All exhibition halls are connected via a simple circular route. Four entrance areas – the Entrances South, East and West, as well as the entrance on the trade fair Boulevard – ensure that visitors will be evenly distributed throughout the exhibition halls.
IDS (International Dental Show) takes place in Cologne every two years and is organised by the GFDI Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Dental-Industrie mbH, the commercial enterprise of the Association of German Dental Manufacturers (VDDI), and is staged by Koelnmesse GmbH, Cologne.
